Panjab University honoured Punjab State Information Commissioner and noted author Harpreet Sandhu with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his contributions to promoting the importance of books, enriching the Panjab University Library, and showcasing the university’s natural and heritage wealth through his literary and pictorial works.
The Certificate of Appreciation was presented by Panjab University Vice-Chancellor Dr Renu Vig, who acknowledged Sandhu’s sustained efforts to foster a culture of reading, knowledge dissemination and environmental consciousness among students, scholars and the wider academic community.
The university stated that Sandhu’s literary and pictorial contributions have significantly enhanced the academic value of its library resources, benefiting students, researchers and future generations.
According to the university, the recognition reflects appreciation for Sandhu’s unwavering commitment to literature, heritage conservation and environmental awareness through meaningful publications.
