Yo Yo Honey Singh joins anti-drug campaign in Punjab, meets Tarun Chugh

Popular singer Yo Yo Honey Singh met Tarun Chugh and extended support to the anti-drug campaign being carried out in Punjab on Tuesday. Honey Singh said drug addiction is destroying families and pushing Punjab’s youth towards ruin, stressing the need to protect the state from the growing menace of narcotics.

The singer said he would actively participate in the campaign and inspire youngsters to stay away from drugs through his music and public outreach. He added that helping Punjab’s youth come out of the trap of “chitta” and drug addiction and securing their future is the need of the hour. Honey Singh also pledged to contribute towards rebuilding a vibrant and prosperous Punjab.

Tarun Chugh described Honey Singh as a son of Punjab who has earned global recognition through his talent and music. He said the singer would play an important role in spreading awareness against drug abuse among young people. Chugh added that if Honey Singh could rebuild his life after difficult times, Punjab’s youth could also overcome addiction and begin a new journey towards a better future.

Referring to the campaign, Chugh said Honey Singh’s support would help take the anti-drug movement to every household in the state. He expressed confidence that collective efforts would help make Punjab “Rangla Punjab” and “Sunehra Punjab” once again.
