‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ grosses Rs 1,500 crore worldwide in two weeks

Ranveer Singh’s action-packed thriller, Dhurandhar The Revenge, has taken the global box office by storm, earning over ₹1,500 crore worldwide within just two weeks of its release, the makers announced on Thursday.

Directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film has grossed ₹1,501 crore globally, making it the highest-grossing Indian film of all time in just 15 days.

The sequel to Dhar’s 2025 blockbuster Dhurandhar, the film has shattered multiple box office records, including the biggest Hindi opener ever, highest first- and second-week collections, largest opening weekend worldwide, and the fastest film to cross the ₹1,000 crore mark globally.

Overseas, Dhurandhar The Revenge has collected ₹367 crore in two weeks, setting a new record for the highest-grossing Indian film in North America and the biggest-ever Indian film in international markets within its first week. It also surpassed the lifetime overseas collections of the first installment of the franchise in just 10 days.

At the domestic box office, the film has grossed ₹1,134 crore, with net collections standing at ₹961 crore, putting it on the verge of joining the exclusive ₹1,000 crore net club alongside Hindi blockbusters like Dangal.

Released on March 19 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, the film features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. Set in the Lyari town of Karachi, the story explores the gritty underworld of the region. history of gang wars and violent turf battles, “Dhurandhar: The Revenge” charts the rise of Singh’s character Hamza Ali Mazari in the Karachi underworld while delving into his origins as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, a young man who transforms into a covert operative.
