Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised the courage, dedication and selfless service of personnel of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) on its Raising Day. In a message posted on X on Monday, Modi said NDRF teams are always at the forefront when disasters strike, working tirelessly to save lives, provide relief and restore hope under extremely challenging conditions. He said the professionalism, skills and strong sense of duty displayed by the men and women of the force reflected the highest standards of public service.
The Prime Minister also noted that over the years the NDRF has emerged as a benchmark in disaster preparedness and response, earning respect not only within India but also internationally.
