Mankind Pharma Ltd. is set to acquire biopharma firm Bharat Serums and Vaccines for Rs 13,630 crore, in a strategic move to enhance its presence in the women’s health and fertility market segments.According to NDTV PROFIT, This acquisition will significantly expand Mankind Pharma’s portfolio and capabilities in critical health sectors. The company will purchase Bharat Serums and Vaccines Ltd. from the private equity firm Advent International, with the transaction expected to close in three to four months.
Mumbai-based Bharat Serums offers a wide range of products focusing on women’s health, oncology, and critical care, which align with Mankind Pharma’s goal of providing comprehensive healthcare solutions.
