Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam on the auspicious occasion of Magh Ashtami and Bhishma Ashtami in Prayagraj on Wednesday. Prime Minister Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath took a boat ride from Areal Ghat to Mahakumbh before reaching Sangam Ghat for the ritual. Modi arrived at Prayagraj Airport at 10:05 a.m. before heading to the riverbank at 10:45 a.m. Mahakumbh 2025, which began on January 13, is the world’s largest spiritual gathering and will continue until February 26. Modi has prioritized infrastructure upgrades at pilgrimage sites, including projects worth ₹5,500 crore inaugurated during his December visit.
