PM Modi Inaugurates Sri Sri Radha Madanmohanji Temple in Navi Mumbai

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the Sri Sri Radha Madanmohanji Temple, a major ISKCON project in Kharghar of Navi Mumbai. Modi expressed his gratitude for participating in the ceremony, emphasizing the importance of the temple in preserving spiritual traditions and knowledge.

Highlighting the temple’s design, Modi said it reflects the complete essence of spirituality and knowledge. He also noted that a museum dedicated to the Ramayana and Mahabharata, along with a garden inspired by Vrindavan’s 12 forests, were under development.

Modi acknowledged the spiritual presence of Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj, whose vision played a crucial role in the temple’s creation. He also praised ISKCON’s role in connecting people worldwide through devotion to Lord Krishna and Srila Prabhupada Swami’s teachings.

The Prime Minister stressed the significance of India’s spiritual culture, which links serving God and serving people. He highlighted ISKCON’s global contributions, including its activities at the Kumbh Mela, and lauded the government’s social service programs such as the Ujjwala scheme, free healthcare, and housing.

Modi outlined the government’s efforts to connect pilgrimage sites through the Krishna Circuit, which spans Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha. He encouraged ISKCON to involve devotees in visiting these locations.

The Prime Minister concluded by recognizing ISKCON’s commitment to youth engagement, education, and heritage preservation. He expressed confidence that under ISKCON’s guidance, young people would continue to work for India’s national interest.

Maharashtra Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also attended the event.
