Delhi Police have arrested two alleged associates of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in connection with the firing incident outside a gym reportedly linked to Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa in Paschim Vihar. The accused, both residents of Haryana’s Sonipat district, were apprehended after a manhunt, with investigators alleging their links to gangster Anil Pandit, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang believed to be operating from the United States.

The accused have been identified as Arman, 19, and Tushar alias Tashu alias Pinku, 21. Police said they were arrested in Bahadurgarh, Haryana, following an extensive investigation into the June 11 firing incident.

According to investigators, two motorcycle-borne assailants allegedly opened fire outside a gym on Outer Ring Road in Paschim Vihar at around 4 am before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported, although police recovered seven empty cartridges from the spot.

A case was registered at Paschim Vihar East Police Station, following which the investigation gathered momentum after a social media post allegedly made by gangster Anil Pandit surfaced online claiming responsibility for the attack on behalf of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Police said the post alleged that the firing targeted individuals associated with Guru Randhawa and also referred to the singer’s reported proximity to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, whom the gang considers an adversary.

Recognizing a possible organized crime connection, the Crime Branch subsequently took over the investigation.

Officials said investigators reconstructed the escape route of the assailants, examined technical evidence, and tracked their movements across nearly 100 kilometers. The probe led to the identification of four suspects: Sahil, Sagar, Arman, and Tushar.

Acting on specific intelligence inputs, police conducted raids in the Bahadurgarh area on June 15 and arrested Arman and Tushar. During interrogation, both allegedly admitted their involvement in the firing incident.

Police said Arman is a cousin of the two absconding suspects, Sahil and Sagar, who are believed to have played a key role in the conspiracy.

Investigators further revealed that Tushar had recently returned to India from Russia, where he had been working after travelling on a student visa. Police alleged that he came in contact with Sahil and Sagar shortly before the incident and became involved in the plan.

Both accused have been remanded to police custody and are being questioned to uncover the larger network behind the attack. Police said efforts are underway to arrest the remaining suspects and recover the weapon allegedly used in the firing.
