Rajeev Bindal has been re-elected as the Himachal Pradesh BJP president for the second consecutive term on Tuesday. Union Minister of State Dr Jitendra Singh formally declared Bindal’s re-election and handed him the certificate of appointment along with the party flag, symbolising the continuation of his leadership in the state unit. Speaking at the event, Jitendra Singh said Bindal’s experience and grassroots connect will help strengthen the party’s organisation in Himachal Pradesh, particularly in the run-up to key local and national elections.
Alongside Bindal’s appointment, eight members were also named to the BJP National Council from Himachal. The newly appointed council members include:
