In a significant operation, Punjab Police apprehended two criminals, Lakhwinder Singh Gill and Avtar Singh @ Dhillon, wanted in connection with an FIR filed at PS Phul, Bathinda, under the BNS and Arms Act. Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav confirmed the arrests, which were made in collaboration with the Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) and Bathinda Police. “Both suspects have extensive criminal records with multiple cases filed against them. Police recovered two .32 bore pistols and five live cartridges from the arrested individuals. Punjab Police reiterated its commitment to dismantling organised crime and ensuring the safety of the public,’ the DGP said in his post on X previously known as Twitter.
