Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan on Monday expressed grief over the demise of noted social activist Nand Kishore Goenka, father of Essel Group Chairman Dr. Subhash Chandra.

In a condolence message, Sandhwan described Goenka as a dedicated social worker who devoted his life to public welfare and Gau Seva. He said Goenka played a significant role in community upliftment and the development of Agroha Dham.

The Speaker said his passing has created a void in the socio cultural sphere and extended his condolences to Dr. Subhash Chandra and the bereaved family. He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength for the family to bear the loss.
