Prime Minister Narendra Modi faced an unexpected delay at Deoghar airport on Friday when his Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft developed a technical snag, officials said. The Prime Minister, who had been scheduled to return to New Delhi after addressing a rally in Bihar’s Jamui, departed in an alternate plane after being stranded for nearly two hours.
Later Prime Minister Narendra Modi after having attended the 1st Bodoland Mohotsav in New Delhi, remarked that India is very proud of the Bodo culture and the success of Bodo people across different walks of life.
In a post on X, he wrote “Happy to have attended the Bodoland Mohotsov in Delhi this evening. India is very proud of the Bodo culture and the success of Bodo people across different walks of life.”
