After India and Pakistan have agreed to a full and immediate ceasefire across land, air and sea, Senior Indian military officials launched a blistering counter-offensive against what they described as “deliberate misinformation” from Pakistan, asserting that India’s retaliatory strikes have inflicted deep and lasting damage on Pakistan’s military infrastructure.

Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, addressing reporters on Saturday, said Indian forces had “destroyed Pakistan’s offensive and defensive capabilities” in a series of precise operations launched in the wake of cross-border hostilities. She dismissed Pakistan’s narrative as “a façade” and claimed Indian forces had dealt “significant damage” to strategic military targets.

Wing Commander Vyomika Singh echoed those remarks, stating that Pakistan had suffered “unsustainable losses both on land and in the air.” She said Indian air strikes had severely crippled major Pakistani air bases, including Skardu, Jacobabad, and Bholari. “These facilities have been rendered non-operational in the short to medium term,” she added.

Addressing reports that Indian military damaged mosques in Pakistan during strikes, she denied the allegation  stating that. “We are a secular nation. Our operations were carried out with precision,” she said.

Commodore Raghu R. Nair, NM, also weighed in, stating that “every misadventure from Pakistan has been met with strength.”
