Mandy Takhar unveils the trailer of her upcoming film, ‘Tutt Paini English Ne’ at Jashan 2026

Punjabi actress Mandy Takhar added a starry touch to Jashan 2026 held at the Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran as she unveiled the trailer of her upcoming Punjabi film, Tutt Paini English Ne on the occasion and interacted with the students during the celebration.

Takhar also presented awards to the winners of the Miss and Mr. Fresher competition held on the CGC campus. She turned heads in a pink kurta paired with shiny white palazzo and further complimented her look with pearl earrings and a silver watch.

The event featured a vibrant line-up of fashion, music, and cultural performances, including Bhangra, Giddha, fusion dance, and Bollywood performances. Singer-songwriter Purusharth Jain also entertained the audience with a live performance.

The highlight of the celebration was the Miss and Mr. Fresher competition, where participants competed through rounds of ramp walk, self-introduction, quiz, and question-and-answer sessions. Judges evaluated them on the basis of their confidence, communication skills, presentation and intellectual abilities.

The celebrations began with international fusion and Bollywood dance performances, followed by traditional cultural presentations of Bhangra and Giddha.

Among those present were Parampal Singh Dhillon, Vice Chairman, CGC Landran, Dr Rajdeep Singh, Campus Director and Dr Gagandeep Bhullar, Director, Student Welfare and Alumni Affairs, along with other directors, heads of departments and faculty members.

Dr Gagandeep Bhullar concluded the event with a vote of thanks.
