Chandigarh, July 9
An IndiGo Airlines flight (6E 5009) en route from Patna to Delhi was forced to make an emergency landing shortly after takeoff on Wednesday morning, following a bird strike. The aircraft, carrying 169 passengers, had just departed from Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport when the incident occurred. The flight took off from Patna at 8:42 a.m. but had to return immediately after being struck by a bird.
