A candid confession from an Indian-origin techie about his dissatisfaction with a ₹70 lakh salary in Canada has sparked a viral debate on social media. The tech professional, who works for Infosys in Toronto, revealed that the high cost of living, including nearly $4,000 spent on rent, has made his earnings feel insufficient, the news outlet The Hindustan Times reported.
Entrepreneur and content creator Piyush Monga shared the viral video on Instagram. “$100,000 is not enough. Brother is not satisfied with $115,000 a year as a SAP specialist in Toronto, Canada,” Monga said, according to the news outlet.
In the video, the man, seen pushing a stroller alongside a woman, admitted that his six-figure salary still leaves him unhappy, resonating with many facing similar challenges in Toronto, The Hindustan Times reported.
