Shimla, September 4
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced on Wednesday that, due to the state’s severe financial crisis, the salaries and pensions for government employees and retirees will be disbursed on a fixed schedule each month. Salaries will now be released on the 5th of every month, while pensions will be disbursed on the 10th. The Chief Minister assured that employees would receive their salaries on September 5, and retirees would receive their pensions on September 10.
