Chandigarh, August 20
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has responded to former US President Donald Trump’s job offer with a brief post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, which Musk acquired in 2022. In his post, Musk shared an AI-generated image of himself in a formal suit standing at a lectern labeled “D.O.G.E – Department of Government Efficiency,” accompanied by the caption, “I am willing to serve.”
Trump had stated that if he is re-elected, he would consider Musk for a Cabinet position or an advisory role in the White House, provided the billionaire is willing to take on the responsibility. This statement follows an interview Musk conducted with Trump on X, during which Trump praised Musk’s work in the automotive industry, acknowledging that while electric cars may not be for everyone, Musk’s products are “great.”
According to news outlet Forbes, which quoted a news agency, Musk had initially expressed support for President Joe Biden during the 2020 election, as reported by The Washington Post. However, after an assassination attempt on Trump’s life, Musk publicly endorsed Trump, stating in a post on X, “I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery.”
