New Delhi, January 30
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday claimed that a team from the EC, accompanied by the Delhi Police, arrived at his residence, Kapoorthala House, for a raid. On social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, Mann said: “BJP members are openly distributing money in Delhi, but neither Delhi Police nor the Election Commission is taking action.” He further criticised the authorities for seemingly acting on BJP’s instructions and damaging the reputation of Punjabis, describing the actions as “reprehensible.”
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi also expressed her concerns on X, stating, “Delhi Police has reached to raid @BhagwantMann ji’s house in Delhi. BJP people are distributing money, shoes, sheets in broad daylight – that is not visible. Instead, they go to raid the residence of an elected Chief Minister. Wow BJP! People of Delhi will give their answer.”
