Acharya Manish was among 32 distinguished personalities honoured by Haryana Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh and British Deputy High Commissioner Alba Smeriglio at the awards ceremony organized by the Media Federation of India (MFI) in association with the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), Chandigarh Chapter, at PHD House.
The awards recognized excellence across civil administration, defense services, healthcare, education, sports, media, entrepreneurship, corporate leadership, and social service. Among those honoured were senior journalists Jagwinder Patial, Braj Mohan Singh, Master Anoop Saini for excellence in the CBSE class 12 examination, Lt Gen. Amar Aul for defence services, IAS officer Rakhee Gupta Bhandari for Civil Administration, Brajesh Kumar for Power Distribution Services, IPS officer Sanjeev Kalra for Police Administration, Aditi Sheoran for Women’s Cricket, IAS officer Pankaj Rai for Hospital Administration, Amarjit Singh Mehta for promoting cricket in Punjab, Ananya Gupta for academic excellence, and Indrani Pandhi for media, Acharya Manish for Natural Healing, Dr Varinder Garg for Heritage and Culture.
Pooja Sarin for English Literature, Amit Sharma for Newspaper Management, Dr SK Mishra, Reekrit Serai and Sadanand Wani for promoting education, Punjabi singer Jagjit Bhinder, millet chef Vikas Chawla, Anshul Nanda for Corporate Communications, and entrepreneurs Mohit Bansal, Gurinder Bhatti, Karan Gilhotra, Rupinder Sachdeva, Radhe Shyam Garg, Yashica Jalhotra, Sanjay Agarwal, Israr Ahmad, Saurabh Munjal and Supreet Singh for their contributions in business and industry. PRCI Chandigarh Chapter Chairman Dr Rupesh Singh said the awards celebrate professionals and social entrepreneurs making a meaningful impact through leadership and service, while MFI National President Arun Sharma praised the awardees for their dedication, excellence and outstanding contributions to society.
