Simi Garewal offered a deeply personal tribute to industrialist Ratan Tata, who passed away at the age of 86 on Wednesday in Mumbai. Unlike many tributes from Bollywood figures, Garewal’s message highlighted their unique bond, as she and Tata had been romantically involved decades ago before maintaining a close friendship.
Garewal took to X, sharing a collage of memories featuring Tata from his appearance on her television show, Rendezvous with Simi Garewal. In her heartfelt message, she expressed her sorrow, stating, “They say you have gone… It’s too hard to bear your loss… too hard… Farewell my friend.. #RatanTata.” Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of Tata Sons, had been receiving treatment in intensive care at a Mumbai hospital since Monday before passing away late on Wednesday.
