Clarifying regarding his recent visit to Delhi, Himachal Pradesh Minister Vikramaditya Singh on Monday said that he was not summoned for discussions related to the controversy related to nameplate but had met with party leadership as part of pre-scheduled events. He emphasizing the need for proper registration to maintain the state’s internal security. He expressed disappointment over the communal overtones that have emerged in discussions regarding vending zones in municipal corporations.
“We raised the issues of the people of Himachal. It is unfortunate to give vending concerns a communal form,” he said.
