India won two gold medals at the Asian Games 2026 on Wednesday, with the men’s compound archery team beating China 238-237 and the mixed trap shooting pair of Neeru Dhanda and Kynan Chenai securing the top spot.
The men’s compound archery team of Sahil Jadhav, Ganesh Mani Ratnam Thirumuru and Kushal Dalal defeated China 238-237 to win the gold medal.
India also claimed gold in the mixed trap shooting event, with Neeru Dhanda and Kynan Chenai scoring 34 points.
Qatar finished second with 32 points to take the silver medal, while the Republic of China won the bronze with 23 points.
India’s official medal tally stood at 59 medals, comprising 10 gold, 21 silver and 28 bronze medals, on Day 12 so far.
