Hero Titan X16 and Zero Damp Titan X16 combine waterproofing and thermal protection

Shalimar Paints has launched Hero Titan X16 and Zero Damp Titan X16, an exterior coating system that carries separate 16-year warranties for waterproofing and durability, the company has said.
The two products are designed as a two-layer system combining waterproofing, an exterior finish and a Thermal Barrier Mechanism, according to the company.
Shalimar Paints said the products were developed to address water ingress, weather exposure and durability of exterior surfaces while retaining the finish over time.
Kuldip Raina, MD and CEO, Shalimar Paints, said demand in the exterior coatings segment was increasingly being driven by expectations around protection and durability in addition to appearance. “Coatings must move beyond decoration to become integrated performance solutions,” he added.
Raina said the two products combined waterproofing, thermal protection, durability and finish in a single exterior coating system.
The company further said the products were intended for residential applications and premium housing projects.
