Ninth season of ‘Kahin Gum Na Ho Jayein’ brings budding chefs closer to culinary professionals and hands-on learning

Padma Shri awardee and renowned chef Sanjeev Kapoor joined the ninth season of Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Landran’s culinary event “Kahin Gum Na Ho Jayein” on Monday, providing students and aspiring culinary professionals an opportunity to showcase their skills and interact with industry experts.

The event, organised by the CGC, Landran, brought together culinary talent and professional expertise, giving students a platform to demonstrate their abilities beyond the classroom.

Speaking on the occasion, he said, “Events like ‘Kahin Gum Na Ho Jayein’ are a wonderful way to celebrate the passion, creativity and potential of young culinary talent. It is always encouraging to interact with students who are eager to learn, experiment and explore the world of food. I am delighted to be a part of the 9th season at the CGC, Landran, and look forward to witnessing the enthusiasm and innovative ideas of the next generation of culinary professionals.”

The event also featured a panel of culinary professionals, including chef Vishvadeep Bali and chef Vikas Chawla, as judges. Priyanka Jain was the event coordinator, while Founder Babette Saxena and Co-founder Col Atul Saxena (Retd) were also associated with the event.

The ninth season focused on bringing together culinary education, industry expertise and emerging talent, while encouraging students to explore their skills and creativity.
