CHEFEX India 2026 to focus on restaurant growth, profitability and food industry trends from September 18 to 20

Chandigarh, September 17

It is not just about what is on the plate. CHEFEX India 2026 will focus on the business behind food, bringing chefs, restaurateurs, entrepreneurs and industry suppliers together to discuss how culinary concepts can grow into sustainable businesses.

The three-day expo, organised by PHDCCI, will be held at Parade Ground, Sector 17, from September 18 to 20, from 10 am to 6 pm.

The opening day will feature “From Chef to CEO: Building Successful Brands”, focusing on unit economics, outlet profitability, margins, delegation and supply-chain management.

A Chef’s Conclave on the future of Indian gastronomy and professional culinary leadership will also be held on the opening day, followed by a networking dinner and Hospitality League recognitions.

The exhibition will bring together businesses from food processing, cold-chain and storage, commercial kitchen technology, packaging, catering and retail, offering a wider look at the infrastructure supporting the food and hospitality industry.

The September 19 programme will feature a fireside conversation between Zorawar Kalra, founder and managing director of Massive Restaurants, and Chef Harpal Sokhi, director of Turban Tadka Hospitality, on the business side of hospitality.

Punjab Governor and Chandigarh Administrator Gulab Chand Kataria will attend the programme as chief guest and is scheduled to address the gathering and felicitate CHEFEX partners and chefs.

A panel on healthy sweetening solutions will also be held, along with product showcases, live demonstrations and industry interactions.
