Man wanted in Ambala robbery case traced after three-day search in Royal City
Patiala, September 15
A tense situation unfolded near the Polo Ground in Patiala when the Ambala Police arrived to arrest a man wanted in a robbery case, who allegedly picked up a sharp-edged weapon after being located by the police team.
According to the police, the Ambala team had been searching for the suspect in Patiala for the past three to four days. When the team finally located him near the Polo Ground and moved to apprehend him, he allegedly picked up the weapon, causing panic in the area.
A team from the Officer Colony police post in Patiala reached the spot and assisted the Ambala Police in apprehending the suspect.
The suspect was taken into custody and further investigation and legal proceedings are underway.
