Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria congratulates Justice Mishra, wishes him successful tenure
Chandigarh, September 7
Justice Ashwani Kumar Mishra was sworn in as the Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court at Punjab Lok Bhawan here on Monday.
Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria congratulated Justice Mishra on assuming the constitutional responsibility and wished him a successful tenure.
In a statement, Kataria expressed confidence that Justice Mishra’s experience, scholarship and commitment to justice would further strengthen the dignity of the judiciary and reinforce the values of the Constitution and the rule of law.
The Governor also extended his best wishes to the new Chief Justice and hoped that his tenure would be marked by success and meaningful contribution to the justice system.
