Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday alleged that the Congress party’s opposition to reservations is embedded in its DNA, claiming that they do not want the poor to advance. He accused Congress leaders of working to undermine the Constitution and criticized the party for using Dalits as a vote bank. “Congress has insulted Baba Saheb Ambedkar. Now they are mentally torturing Kumari Selja as she was insulted,” he alleged. He emphasized her stature as a significant leader, questioning why she shouldn’t aspire to be Chief Minister. “No one has the right to insult her. Congress always suppresses those who come up from the Dalit community,” he added.
