India won its 5th Asian Champions Trophy by defeating China by 1-0 on Tuesday. It was Jugraj Singh’s match-winning goal in the 51st minute that led India to its victory. The match tarted with China attempting to unsettle India’s defence, but the second quarter saw China take a more defensive approach.
India’s best opportunity came in the 27th minute when Harmanpreet’s shot off a mistrapped PC hit the post. Despite India’s relentless attacks, the score remained 0-0 till the third quarter. It was during the 51st minute when Harmanpreet Singh made an impressive run into the D, setting up Jugraj Singh to take the winning shot.
