Protesters called for a ‘Bandh’ in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh from 9 am to 12 pm on Monday protesting against the lathi-charge and usage of water cannons on protestors in Sanjauli of Shimla district on September 11. According to media reports, residents of Solan district have expressed concerns about the increasing number of outsiders in the area. These outsiders are setting up businesses, and locals are noticing its impact on their own livelihoods, complaint the locals.
