Narnaul, June 8
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Monday inaugurated the Bharatiya Janata Party’s newly constructed district office in Narnaul and said that for the BJP, power is a medium of public service rather than a means to enjoy authority.
The new office, named “Namo Kamal”, was inaugurated in the presence of Haryana BJP president Dr Archana Gupta. Before the inauguration, Saini hoisted the party flag and participated in a havan ceremony organised at the venue.
Addressing party workers and local leaders, Saini said the present state government has ensured balanced development across Haryana and ended the discrimination allegedly faced by the southern region under previous governments.
He said the vision of “Haryana Ek, Haryanvi Ek” was being implemented through equal development in every region of the state.
Highlighting development initiatives in Mahendragarh district, the Chief Minister said road connectivity in Narnaul and nearby areas was being strengthened. He also mentioned infrastructure projects, including a proposed logistics hub, which he said would create new employment opportunities for youth.
Saini further said the government was working to address long-standing water shortage issues in the region. He added that canal water was now reaching tail-end areas, bringing relief to residents who had struggled with water scarcity for years.
Calling the inauguration of the new BJP district office a matter of pride, Saini said party offices were not merely physical structures but centers of organisation, ideology and public service.
“For BJP workers, the party office is a temple of organisation and service,” he said, adding that such centers should work to ensure that welfare schemes and development benefits reach the last person in society.
The Chief Minister also praised the BJP’s organisational structure and contrasted it with dynastic politics. He said the BJP provides opportunities for ordinary workers to rise through dedication and hard work.
Referring to the party’s political journey, Saini noted that the BJP had grown from winning only two Lok Sabha seats in 1984 to becoming the country’s largest political force. He credited the growth to the efforts of party workers and public trust in the organisation.
Saini also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and said the country had witnessed major development and welfare-oriented governance over the past 12 years.
He urged party workers to continue serving society with honesty and commitment and expressed confidence that Haryana would contribute significantly towards the vision of a developed India.
Speaking at the event, Haryana BJP president Dr Archana Gupta said the new office would work in the spirit of Antyodaya and help ensure that government welfare schemes reach every citizen effectively.
