Government College Dharamshala, one of the largest and most reputed higher educational institutions in Himachal Pradesh, has commenced the admission process for the academic session 2026-27. The college administration has invited online applications for various undergraduate and vocational courses offered by the institution.
College Principal Prof. Rakesh Pathania appealed to students and parents to complete the online admission process within the stipulated timeframe through the college’s official admission portal. He said the institution remains committed to providing quality education, a strong academic environment, and employment-oriented courses for the holistic development of students.
Prof. Pathania informed that the entire admission process is being conducted online for the convenience of applicants. He added that the online prospectus has also been uploaded to the college website and can be downloaded easily by students. He advised applicants to carefully read the prospectus before submitting applications, as it contains detailed information regarding eligibility criteria, subject combinations, fee structure, required documents, and other important instructions.
The college offers admissions in courses including B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.Voc. in Hospitality and Tourism and Retail Management, BBA, BCA, Biotechnology, along with several other career-oriented and professional programs. Every year, thousands of students from across Himachal Pradesh seek admission to the prestigious institution to pursue higher education.
