BSF arrests 2 Pakistani nationals after illegal border crossing in Amritsar

Two Pakistani nationals were arrested by the Border Security Force after allegedly crossing the India-Pakistan border illegally in the Amritsar sector. Officials said a vehicle was also recovered from their possession, and security agencies are conducting detailed questioning to determine the circumstances behind the border breach.

According to officials, the two men worked as suppliers delivering goods to shops in Pakistan’s Kasur region. During travel in their personal vehicle, they allegedly crossed into Indian territory, where BSF personnel immediately detained them. The arrested individuals have been identified as Mohammad Saleem and Aamir Nawaz, both residents of Lahore, Pakistan.

BSF officials informed the Pakistani Rangers about the incident at the zero line. Authorities in the Amritsar sector are continuing interrogations to determine whether the duo crossed the border accidentally or whether there was another motive behind the intrusion. Further investigation is underway.
