Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has paid tribute to Indian Army personnel and their families on the occasion of Indian Army Day, marked on January 15. In a message posted on X, Rajnath Singh on Thursday said that the nation salutes the Army’s “indomitable courage, supreme sacrifice and unwavering commitment” to protecting India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He said the Indian Army , ever vigilant along the borders and resolute during national crises, has earned global respect for its professionalism, discipline and humanitarian service. The Defence Minister also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to building a modern, self-reliant and future-ready force, in line with the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat. “A grateful nation stands united in pride and respect for its soldiers,” he added.
