With Rana Naidu Season 2 gearing up for release, actor Tanuj Virwani is back in the spotlight—and expectations are riding high. Known for his ability to slip into diverse roles, Tanuj is all set to deliver another striking act in the much-anticipated Netflix series.
This season, Tanuj’s character finds himself deeply intertwined with those of seasoned actor Rajat Kapoor and Kriti Kharbanda, who portray his father and sister, respectively. Reflecting on the experience of sharing screen space with the duo, Tanuj says the journey was both refreshing and creatively fulfilling.
“Being part of this show has been a joyride. I was a huge fan of Season 1, so stepping into this world again felt surreal. Most of my scenes this time were with Rajat sir and Kriti, and the dynamic was something I hadn’t explored before. Kriti and I hadn’t met prior to this, but we hit it off instantly. It was fun to play siblings on screen—something different from the usual romantic pairings I do. The sibling banter and rivalry added a fun layer to our scenes. As for Rajat sir, it’s always a privilege. We last worked together on Code M Season 1, and just being in a frame with him elevates your performance. His presence brings so much depth. I didn’t get to shoot with Arjun Rampal, but I’ve heard amazing things. Working alongside such seasoned actors really pushes you to bring your best every single day.”
With a strong ensemble cast and high-octane drama promised in Season 2, Rana Naidu is poised to up the ante. And with Tanuj Virwani in full form, audiences can certainly expect a performance packed with nuance and intensity.
