Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday paid a visit to Air Force Station Adampur in Punjab, where he met with air warriors and soldiers, praising their unwavering courage and commitment to the nation. In a post shared on social media platform X, Modi described the interaction as “a very special experience,” saying he was honoured to spend time with those who “epitomise courage, determination and fearlessness.”

“India is eternally grateful to our armed forces for everything they do for our nation,” he added, reaffirming the government’s appreciation for military personnel serving in key strategic areas. The visit comes at a time of heightened focus on India’s defence preparedness, with the Prime Minister repeatedly emphasising national security and operational readiness in recent public addresses.

Adampur is one of the Indian Air Force’s frontline bases and plays a crucial role in the country’s air defence network, particularly along the western borders.
