Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has expressed full confidence in India’s armed forces, commending their vigilance along the northern and western borders. Addressing the Army Commanders’ Conference, the Defence Minister acknowledged the military’s preparedness and highlighted the ongoing threat of cross-border terrorism. Rajnath Singh lauded the synergy between security forces in Jammu and Kashmir, stating their coordinated efforts have strengthened stability in the region. He also praised the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) for enhancing infrastructure despite challenging conditions.
The minister reiterated the government’s commitment to modernization and indigenization in defense, urging military leaders to adapt to evolving security challenges. Singh emphasized the Army’s vital role in national security, diplomacy, and disaster response, calling it an “incomparable” force in nation-building.
