Union Home Minister Amit Shah has welcomed the decision of two more Hurriyat-affiliated groups—J&K Tahreeqi Isteqlal and J&K Tahreek-I-Istiqamat—to renounce separatism and embrace India’s governance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In a post on X, Shah said separatism in Kashmir is “breathing its last” under Modi’s leadership, while unity is prevailing across the region.
