Panchkula, July 31
Nestled against the backdrop of the Shivalik Hills, IHG Hotels & Resorts announced the opening of The Aarlis Hotel Panchkula, Vignette Collection, marking the debut of its luxury Vignette Collection brand in India and Southwest Asia. The 145-room property is the first hotel in the region to join IHG’s collection of luxury and lifestyle hotels. Speaking on the occasion, Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said, “The opening of The Aarlis Hotel represents a significant milestone for the company in one of the world’s fastest-growing luxury hospitality markets.”
The property offers multiple dining venues, including Sapio, an all-day dining restaurant; Cabinet V, serving modern Indian and European cuisine; Wakerie, an artisanal patisserie; Jigger, a cocktail bar; and Sky VI, a rooftop venue overlooking the Shivalik Hills. Additional facilities include a spa, salon, fitness centre, swimming pool and nearly 30,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including the Aura Grand Ballroom.
As part of the Vignette Collection experience, guests will be invited to participate in the hotel’s signature Venu-Nada ritual, held daily between 6:30 pm and 7 pm. The evening experience combines traditional oil lamps with live flute and tabla performances, aiming to provide guests with a meaningful cultural connection to the destination.
The hotel has also partnered with the non-profit organisation Chhoti Si Asha under the brand’s Means For Good initiative. Through the collaboration, the property sources locally crafted products for guest amenities and gifts, supporting sustainable livelihoods and the economic empowerment of underprivileged women.
