Track drops on singer’s official YouTube channel nearly five months after ‘Eyes on Me’

Late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala’s new posthumous track ‘Ghostface Killah’ was released on his official YouTube channel, @sidhumoosewalaofficial.

The song was released without an advance announcement, with the official music video going live on the singer’s YouTube channel on Monday. The release comes more than four years after Moosewala’s death in May 2022 and nearly five months after his previous posthumous release, ‘Eyes on Me’, which was released on April 27.

The new track quickly drew a strong response on the platform, with the official YouTube channel registering a surge in views following its release. The channel currently has more than 31 million subscribers, according to publicly available channel data.

‘Ghostface Killah’ adds to Moosewala’s catalogue of music released posthumously. Earlier unreleased tracks, including ‘SYL’, ‘Vaar’, ‘Mera Na’, ‘Chorni’, ‘Drippy’, ‘Attach’, ‘Barota’ and ‘Eyes on Me’, have also been released after his death.

Moosewala’s official social media presence continues to be maintained by his family. His official Instagram account, @sidhu_moosewala is used for updates related to his music and legacy.
