Hoshiarpur, June 17
Six people were injured after a private bus collided with two pick-up vehicles near Machhian village in Hoshiarpur district, police said.
According to police, the accident occurred when the bus, which was travelling towards Hoshiarpur, collided with a pick-up vehicle coming from the opposite direction near Machhian village. Another pick-up vehicle travelling in the same direction as the bus later struck its rear side.
A total of six people sustained injuries in the collision.
Police said two of the injured were admitted to the Community Health Center in Bhunga for treatment. The remaining four were shifted to the Government Hospital in Hoshiarpur.
Further details regarding the condition of the injured persons were not immediately available. Police are looking into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
