Manali, June 8
Actor Neil Bhatt recently faced extreme physical challenges while filming a high-octane action sequence in the freezing, snow-blanketed mountains of Manali for his current Star Plus show, Mr. & Mrs. Parshuram.
Bhatt, who portrays the lead role of undercover spy Parshuram, traveled to Himachal Pradesh with the production unit to shoot a crucial, high-stakes narrative arc. While the pristine, snow-capped landscapes promise to bring cinematic grandeur to television screens, the picturesque location demands immense physical endurance from the cast and crew, pushing the actor to his limits on treacherous terrain.
Reflecting on the grueling outdoor schedule, Bhatt revealed that executing choreographed combat on slippery surfaces became a test of survival instincts. “One of the most memorable moments from the Manali schedule was shooting an action sequence on rocky terrain covered in snow,” Bhatt shared. “The rocks were extremely slippery, and there were times when I almost lost my balance while running and performing the action scenes. It definitely made the sequence more challenging, but also more exciting.”
Despite the occupational hazards and biting cold, the actor noted that the outdoor schedule also served as a bonding experience for the team. Between intense shooting shifts, the cast and crew explored local landmarks, including the Rohtang Pass, scenic waterfalls in Sissu, and regional street food. Bhatt remarked that the trip ultimately felt “less like work and more like a vacation with the entire Parshuram family.”
Mr. & Mrs. Parshuram airs daily at 7 PM on Star Plus, with digital streaming available on JioHotstar.
