In a well-coordinated intelligence operation, the Crime Investigation (CI) team of Bathinda, along with Mansa Police, arrested Shimla Singh, a resident of Ghrangana, for his role in a grenade attack on a Mansa petrol pump on October 27, Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav said on Tuesday. “Shimla Singh, during interrogation, revealed that the attack was carried out under the directions of Canada-based gangster Arsh Dalla,” the DGP said in his post on X previously known as Twitter. He further disclosed that he had procured the grenade from the Garhshankar area at Dalla’s instruction and assisted in the logistics for the shooters involved in the murder of Gurpreet Singh Hari Nau. The Punjab Police, led by @PunjabPoliceInd, is intensifying its investigation into the conspiracy, with further arrests expected as more details emerge, he added.
