Dharamshala, June 12
The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) issued an advisory to candidates appearing in the TET June 2026 examinations on June 13, citing expected traffic congestion due to the India-Afghanistan One-Day International cricket match scheduled in Dharamshala.
HPBOSE Chairman Dr. Rajesh Sharma said traffic movement in Dharamshala and nearby areas is likely to remain heavy because of the international fixture. Candidates have therefore been advised to plan their travel in advance and ensure timely arrival at their respective examination centers.
According to the board, the TGT (Arts) TET examination will be held from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, while the TGT (Medical) TET examination will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm on June 13.
Special attention has been advised for candidates appearing at examination centres located along the Dharamshala route, including Government Senior Secondary School (Girls), Dharamshala, Government Senior Secondary School, Matour, Government Senior Secondary School, Shahpur, and Government Senior Secondary School, Dari.
Dr. Sharma urged candidates to make travel arrangements well in advance and, if possible, reach the Dharamshala area a day before the examination. He also advised students to report to their centres before the scheduled time and carry all necessary documents, including their admit cards.
The board said the advisory has been issued to help candidates avoid inconvenience and ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations despite the expected increase in traffic due to the cricket match.
