Honey Khera’s Saffe Zindagi De inspires young readers and budding poets

The Book Exhibition 2026 at Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College, Sector 32-C, Chandigarh, brought together readers, books, and authors through engaging literary interactions.

A key highlight was an interaction with author and poet Honey Khera, who discussed his book Saffe Zindagi De and shared insights into the experiences behind its writing and publication. He also recited his poetry, much to the students’ delight.

The session proved especially encouraging for aspiring poets, as Khera shared valuable guidance on beginning a poetic journey, developing an individual voice, and expressing ideas through words. His candid interaction and poetry motivated students to explore their creativity and take their first steps into writing.

Dr. Gurpreet Singh Sohal, Convener of the Readers Club and President of the NDLI Club, praised the initiative for providing young readers with a meaningful opportunity to connect with authors and understand their creative journeys.
