Fire breaks out at private restaurant in Manali, no casualties reported

A fire broke out at a private restaurant located on the first floor of a five-storey building near Ram Bagh Chowk, adjacent to the Mall Road in the tourist town of Manali.

On receiving information about the incident, teams from the police, district administration, and fire department rushed to the spot. After sustained firefighting efforts, the blaze was brought under control before it could spread further. Officials said the fire erupted in the restaurant’s kitchen. While no loss of life or injuries were reported, the incident caused damage to the property.

The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Police and the concerned authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances leading to the incident.
