CM Sukhu speaks to ITI trainees in Kazakhstan; international experience will lay a strong foundation for better employment

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu interacted over the phone with Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani and 30 ITI trainees currently on an exposure visit to Kazakhstan. During the conversation, the Chief Minister inquired about the trainees’ experiences and extended his best wishes for their future.
The Chief Minister stated that this international exposure visit to Kazakhstan would prove to be a valuable learning experience for the trainees. He noted that the visit provided the youth with an opportunity to gain firsthand insight into modern technology, global work culture, and the latest operational practices adopted in industries.
Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu stated that this blend of practical skills and international experience would give a new direction to the personalities and professional capabilities of the trainees. He expressed confidence that this experience would open up better employment opportunities for them—both within the country and abroad—and enable them to carve out a distinct identity through their skills.
The Chief Minister stated that the state government is continuously striving to make technical education employment-oriented. Such programs will be continued with the aim of providing youth with world-class technical knowledge and skills, enabling them to prepare themselves for evolving technologies and global competition.
