40 members lose at least 2 kg each in month-long initiative involving over 70 participants
Chandigarh: Forty members of the Chandigarh Press Club lost at least 2 kg each during a month-long fitness challenge organised by the club, which saw participation from more than 70 members.
Held under the theme “Fitness for Everyone – You Lose Weight, You Win”, the initiative aimed to encourage healthier lifestyle habits through consistency and individual effort.
Participants were recognised in three categories based on weight loss, i.e. 2 kg, 3 kg and 5 kg. All those who achieved the minimum target of losing 2 kg received rewards.
The challenge focused on personal progress rather than rankings, encouraging members to make conscious efforts towards better health and fitness.
The Chandigarh Press Club congratulated the participants for taking up the challenge and acknowledged their commitment to adopting healthier habits.
The club reiterated that the initiative was intended to promote fitness as part of everyday life, with an emphasis on consistency and sustainable lifestyle changes.
