BJP reviews organisational strategy and outreach ahead of 2027 Punjab polls

Panchkula: Punjab BJP president Kewal Singh Dhillon on Friday said that the party would form the next government in Punjab. He accused the state government of failing to tackle drug abuse and gangsterism. Speaking to reporters during the second day of a BJP organisational meeting at Red Bishop in Sector 1, Panchkula, Dhillon also alleged that law and order had deteriorated and that those who raised their voice against the government were being targeted.

Dhillon said district BJP presidents had been briefed on expanding the party’s reach and communicating its welfare policies. He said the meeting also reviewed the BJP’s Nasha Mukt Punjab campaign and discussed ways to expand its reach. Dhillon described the campaign as successful, saying it had received support from people, particularly mothers and women affected by drug abuse in their families.

The BJP has recently concluded its statewide anti-drug campaign ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly election.
